Homeland scenery - Vranja stena (Crows' Rock)

Vranja stena (1097m) is located in the south-central part of Serbia 43°29'08.9"N 20°52'32.1"E, just a 1-hour walk from Mitrovo polje village. It is surrounded by three mountains: Kopaonik, Goč and Željin. The rock is interesting because of its southern side, which is sharply cut and forms an abyss of 100 meters. From Vranja stena you can clearly see the remains of the medieval town of Koznik, the peaks of Zeljin mountain as well as the entire valley of Rasina river all the way to my hometown Brus.
