I have been using Steemit for approximately three months now and I noticed, that even as a notorious social media avoider, I find myself here, trying to write to the Steemit Audience every day.

Motive
What keeps attracting me to this mediocre UI layout, where my posts seem to have less visibility, than the least popular kid at school.
The only answer I can come up with is that this platform shares experiences, love and due to it’s economic structure somehow get’s the best out of people, it is a platform of “Good intent”.

It seems Steemit has figured out a model that balances out and incentivises people to become a better version of themselves, whilst still feeling unobstructed to share critical opinions and views.
Without knowing it, Steemit might have created another worlds first, in terms of how an economic model should work.

Money
Well I made a little money out of posting which by itself is prety cool, but the time that has gone into writing posts and understanding what the audience likes hasn’t quite payed itself back yet.
Heck, if I put that time into some extra flying hours, I would have had the best financial year ever.

Addiction
Truth be told, I have an addictive behaviour, once I decide I want to do something, the earth stops rotating and it shall be done and so I have spent many , many hours in my life trying to achieve something. The emphasize is on trying in tha last sentence.
Now I am active on Steemit and I am spending a lot of time on here as it seems that my obsessive part of the brain has chosen a new victim........Steemit!
But this time I think I can regard it as a healthy obsession!

I have spent thousands of hours trying to become a Poker Pro, thousands of hours gaming, trying to be the best, and thousands of hours on creating a pokerbot. Now truth be told, I have had mediocre succes in each category, if any and even though all projects are still running, I have now put these on hold. After all we only have 16 hours in a day that we can spent.

I probably should have mainly been focused on my flying carreer, but I decided to give my creative part some space.

Hero

Now I have to try and figure to fit the FrankenStein “clickbaite” Title to the story. Not an easy feat!
Few people know that FrankenStein was not the creation but the creator and as a creator he made mistakes as he focused solely on studying and creating this creature, he lost the most important things in life out of sight.

BitShares starring Viktor
BitShares is a playing the role of Viktor in my story and Hero is it’s creation.
However in this story Viktor does it right, he doesn’t focus solely on it’s creation, but realizes there are more important things to life then just create and study.
Viktor now realises that no matter what you do in life it has to balanced, peaceful and surrounded by good intend.

The Steemit model seems to work as it get’s the best out of people and people generally want to be the best they can be.
