Can't transfer anything, "Account exceeded maximum allowed bandwidth per vesting share" anybody else got this problem?
Hey Steemers, a friend of mine was testing a simple transfer (1 steem, tried also with 10 or 50), and he got this error.
Anyone else got this problem?
It seems he might have zero vesting shares, and therefore can't make any transfers?
Also, he can't even post on steemit anymore (same error), so I had to post this for him :\
Your friend might not have enough steem power to make a transfer. The Steem blockchain does not charge fees but you do need to have a minimum amount of vests aka "steem power" (I am not sure what the threshold is).
He had a bunch of STEEM POWER and then powered down. Now he can't do shit. How is he supposed to gain STEEM POWER, if he can't even vote or be create posts?
What is the name of your friend's account?
How did he create his steem account? Did he upvotes a lot or made other transactions prior? AFAIK new accounts have enough vest to make a transfer but yes there is a limit of transaction per vest.
