WHY STEEMIT MIGHT NOT GROW: HOW WE ALL ARE SELFISH

Ponzi Scheme got popular within a year. Using MMM as an example, I remember lying down on my bed in the hostel when a stranger came to hook me up on a conversation. He greeted me and then started lecturing me about MMM. I was confused and thought it's one of those scammers around. I never gave him my full attention.

Days later my room mate and friend @mrfelix came around and started preaching MMM. He told me a lot of good things about the community and how it'll be of benefit to me. Long story short, I joined the community, participated till its declination.

Just hearing about steemit some weeks ago. When I made a little research about steemit, I discovered it had been up for over a year now. Then i begin to wonder why didn't i hear about it earlier.

The internet has now reduced the world to a piece of dice. And the university community I find myself should as well be an advantage and the most reason I should have heard about steemit earlier than now.

Buy why am I hearing about it a year after its lunch, COS EVERYONE IS SELFISH!

As there are no referral bonus, people have refused to share the goodnews with friends and colleagues. They be like, 'What's my gain if he joins?' Finding out they have no gain made them reluctant in sharing the information.

I am not against selflessness nor supporting selfishness. Am only stating the fact that,

1. Everyone is selfish AT SOME POINT in life
2. Selflessness and selfishness is neither good nor bad
3. It is how and when they are deployed in life that makes them bad.

These conclusions were derived from these premises...

1. If everyone was not selfish. Steemit would have gone viral.

2. If everyone was selfless AT EVERY GIVEN TIME, nobody would have successfully raised an empire

3. If everyone was selfless at EVERY GIVEN TIME, nobody would have been an entrepreneur or inventor or made any record.

  IN CONCLUSION

If you claim not to ever have been SELFISH AT SOME POINT in life,

A. RESTEEM this post and don't he selfish with the content

B. Ensure you inform all your friends, colleagues, enemies , and loved ones about STEEMIT.
