What new users need to see

Last night I was thinking about ways of making the experience for new users at Steemit more friendly and it dawned me...We are missing a get started page!

The page could have something like this:

• Introduce yourself 
• How to write a good post
• Posting etiquette
• How Steemit works

Each section could have a brief explanation and links to more detailed tutorials and an option to "not show this again"

I know that there are several good posts about all this stuff but for a new user it coud be very "labor intensive" to look for all this information and I think that it would help with user retention if all of that would just "be there".

Hey...we could even hold a contest for the best design.
