Round of 16 World Cup 22' Prediction

Now, I'm gonna do my predictions for the round of 16 of the FWC. The games are Netherlands - USA / Argentina - Australia / Japan - Croatia / Brasil - South Korea / France - Poland / England - Senegal / Morocco - Spain / Portugal - Switzerland.

Netherlands - USA:
In this first match of the knockout stages, the Netherlands is clearly the favourite although their way of playing is not the best as they are very disorganized. The USA have some good players, however, the team is not at the level of their opponent

Argentina - Australia:
Argentina has the 75% of winning this match, but the statistics are sometimes misleading, like for example in their game against Saudi Arabia. The normal situation would be that Argentina wins the game as the level of both teams have a big difference.

Japan - Croatia:
These two teams surprised us all during the world cup, as they weren't the favourites to pass on their group. Japan won their games against Spain and Germany, although they lost the in theory easier match. On the other hand, Croatia draw against Morocco who finished 1st in their group, won against Canada 4-1 and finally drew against Belgium to get passed them to the round of 16. In this game, there could be any chance for the two teams to go through.

Brasil - South Korea:
This match is cristal clear who will go through as Brasil is one of the favourite teams to win the World Cup, but you never know. Brasil comes with a loss against Cameroon, and South Korea comes with a very important win against Portugal, which is very important in how the moral of the two teams is to win the game.

France - Poland:
This game has a favourite and it is France. They have a very good team, and a deadly attack, as they have good connections between the players. On the other side, Poland does not have in general a good team. They have good particular players like Lewandowski who is a killer inside the box, Zielinski who is the perfect partner for Robert, and Szczesny who has been doing great games and saving some penalties.

England - Senegal:
Both teams have great sides, the English boys are clearly more technical than the Africans, but Senegal are much more physical than them. It depends on how the game goes, even though the english guys are better, both teams can go through.

Morocco - Spain:
In this game could happen anything. Spain have good technical players, but the Moroccans are lately playing well. It could fall on either of the two sides. Althougt Morocco doesn't have big names on their team they play well, and as Spain's attack isn't very strong they could easily win the game.

Portugal - Switzerland:
This will also be an intense match with both teams fighting for the win, however Portugal is more likely to win for it's players and their form. Also both teams play well inside the pitch with very clear ideas to do at every moment. Switzerland has a good overall team so we'll see what happens on the match, but everything could happen, we have been seeing it during all the tournament
