How Low Will Steem Go?
For those who are here for the long haul it doesn't really make us nervous to see the price fluctuate as it does, at least it doesn't worry me at all. But I am wondering what your thoughts are on how low we could possibly see steem go? One person the other day said they would buy when it went below .10 -- will it really fall below that?
Whether it goes up or down doesn't matter because those of us invested for the long run are still going to be here either way. But I do enjoy when the price goes down because it makes it an even better buy to get some more steem power.
Thoughts?

the whales and dolphins need to start treating the minnows that show up better or investors are going to end up the only people using this site.

Steem is at such an early point in its life, being so inflationary right now, that it very well could make new lows after the first bubble. Remember though, what matters to long term investors is not the price of STEEM but the price of VESTs. One MVEST from the beginning of July is worth quite a bit more STEEM today.
Remember that Bitcoin wasn't even trading on exchanges until nearly two years after launch. Since both have the same linear inflation trajectory (first four years for Bitcoin, and until Steem hits about 0.19% per day) the first bubbles in Bitcoin's history began with much lower rates of inflation compared to available supply than the comparable situation for Steem today.
I would think 50 cents is a strong support. There's been some key people join Steemit since 25 cents before the initial pump. I'd be surprised if we go below 40 cents. Of course, I am new to crypto so what do I know!?
My advice is to not even look at the price if you believe in this platform. We all need to try and grow this. I see so many crypto coins pop up with no sense of direction. Most are scams. The devs look like they have something here. As a community we all need to work together.
