My Lucky Whale Silver Coin

in #steemit8 years ago

As some of you already know

I just returned from Acapulco, Mexico where I had a really good time displaying steemit fashions at Anarchapulco - especially on Cryptopulco Day

But, unfortunately, after only two weeks of this:

I had to return back home to this:

So .......... I've made my decision.

Come Hell or High Water, I am going to become a whale!!!!!
(so that I can afford to move to a warmer clime)

Fortunately for me, the very day after returning to the frozen North I happened to be in the Post Office when what to my eyes did appear?

A brand new Canadian Mint silver collector's coin called "Breaching Whale".

I knew immediately that this just had to be a sign from Above!!

And so, with zero hesitation at all, I plunked down some hard earned cash and acquired my new Lucky Whale Coin:

All I can say now is:

"Look Out Above"

And that me and my Lucky Whale Coin are soon heading for warmer climes!

I hope that some of you will be coming to visit me there!

Good luck, everyone deserves a little sunshine :)

That is a very nice coin, The Canadian mint has really stepped up their game. I have a lot of their wildlife series but none of the 3d as of yet.

Thanks for sharing !!

I think that this is the first three dimensional one.

Not sure, it could be the first 4 9s fine. They had a few different sterling ones I've seen.

For example.

Maybe I'm wrong then (but the only other time that I thought that I might be wrong, I was mistaken).

Beautiful coin. I'll chip in on a bounty for any mint that creates a great physical Steem coin.

My guess is that the Royal Canadian Mint (or any other mint that produces a bullion coin denominated in a nation's fiat value) wouldn't touch a "steemit coin" with a 10 foot pole.
Your best bet would be to contact http://www.silverbulletsilvershield.com/
They would probably produce such a coin if you subsidized production and/or guaranteed them a minimum number of orders.

Good to have you back ! I am dreaming to collect such a beautiful coin one day as well but only in Acapulco :)

Too bad then. As far as I know the Royal Canadian Mint does not have an outlet in Acapulco. Maybe you could open the first?

Haha oh well I had a vacation in mind more than the coin . Too #oldfashioned thinking maybe 😉

If you vacation there, you might want to stay!

It's hard to steem when it's so cold! (But hence my new motivation to counterbalance it I guess)

burn more so you can have tea and move your train from station to station steeming on :)

Been a while since I've been to Acapulco, but I had a wonderful time last time!

Nice coin too! I picked up a bit of silver in Acapulco, but order most of my bullion online.

Yup, Acapulco was awesome. I loved every minute of it!

Actually it's my Lucky coin, but not my most beautiful one. (Don't let Lady Luck hear me saying that LOL)

It's probably a limited edition, so if a lot of steemers snap them up - that might make the collector value of the coin go up (and help me get my place in the sun that much sooner!!!)

I'm in the country which is supposed to be in the sun most of the year but it's been raining alot recently. I've some coins from Perth mint but they don't have any whale recently as I have just search. This other one from CA looks interesting too.

You need a Lucky Whale coin to stop the rain :-)

Awww...too bad they don't happen to accept STEEM or SBD for that Breaching Whale Silver Coin.
At least NOT YET!

Maybe they accept Starbucks card before STEEM or SDB.

GYFT allows anyone to use BTC to purchase Starbucks or just about anything from any U.S. Retailer...
STEEM or SBD let's get a move on it!

yay, asshole is back to flag again.

The only way is don't post, don't comment. In that case, then why be on steemit?
Just keep doing what we do. :-)

oh come on why get affected by a bot, asshole is whatever even after completing his mission he is back :D it's a matter of time before somebody trails him and upvotes for 0.1% :D

Love your Silver Dollars @onceuponatime
Beautiful Whale coin

A beautiful coin. You may not be in a warm climate now, but you're getting a warm welcome home from the Steemit community!

Yes, coins really can be works of art!

Welcome back @onceuponatime

Cool story...(no pun intended)
I'm digging that Steeming Coffee Polo.
Looks like WHALES above can FLY these days...
Nice Lucky Breaching Whale of a Tale 2017 Fine Silver Coin.
