First, Stop Making Excuses.
On Thursday, 2nd of jan, 2007, I went fully into the business world.
I had all the reasons in the world to make excuses (among which is the fact that I only had #8,500 with me).
But I decided not to make excuses.
If you want to start your own business in Nigeria in the year 2018, you must be willing to bury excuses.
The second thing you must do is to be willing to start small.
If I had waited to have all the capital I needed, I would probably still be waiting today.
People who are waiting for the perfect weather wait forever.
The third thing you must do is to learn from experienced entrepreneurs.

Unfortunately, we are living in a very funny world where people are willing to spend 4 years to learn how to be Secretaries, Accountants, Bankers etc
But when these same people want to start their own businesses, they are not willing to read just 4 books about entrepreneurship.
Here are the 8 skills every successful entrepreneur has in common:

Just make sure you decide, self dedication and commitment to the which ever business opinion. Pray and work towards it, you are going to excel in your business.

The point of people willing to study for careers but not do the same effort when starting a business is very true. Some tend to think it is just putting the money in , getting people to do the work and profit. And if you start small that is not an option.
You need to research and fight your battles alone , only by starting at the ground floor of your own business will you ever be able to appreciate it for the gift it is and share a wealth with those that end up working for you.
That's a great post. You're right on the money; there's a lot of idiots out there spending 4 years to learn to become a secretary and order lunches for the board room.
