The Perfect Time to Post on Steemit
No matter how informative or impressive your content is, you must also be wary of posting on Steemit at a very low traffic period.
Timing matters!
I'm sure you don't want to start running when the elevator is already closing. You want your content seen and upvoted by reasonable large number of people. Timing is just another critical measure you need, just like giving your post fish-hook tags, to attract deserving number of upvotes within 7 days.
Note that steemit users grow in number day by day, which gives your post even more limited time to run around where it could be easily seen by other users. Your post tends to get off sight within a very few days if they don't make it to trending list. That is the more reason you need to make sure you don't post when others may be busy or sleeping.
What time is the best?
Statistics show that internet rush hour range in the world is around 7pm to 11pm. This would have been directly helpful if steemits' users are from only one country. Of course it takes more than that.
So here's analysis below, using steemit's top 20 countries which generates over 80% of its daily traffic.
The Yard Stick
To get a perfect timing, it is imperative to stage the calculation to about 10 hours(all around evening). This will simply enable us to capture as much active countries as possible. The bottom line is that you need more eyes on your content.
What time would most of these countries in the above picture be on steemit?
From a simple look, you will notice that there are more active countries on the left-half side than the right. And it specifically started from United kingdom to Korea which gives us exactly 10hours to deal with. Pakistan stands in between the active side. There lies the power point.
Timing Conclusion
Wherever it is you are using steemit from, you really need to start working on steemit with Pakistan time. You will need to watch out for the middle of the steemit traffic peak time(8pm) in Pakistan's time.
Note that you will even get better shot if you have your post in the weekend, especially on Sundays.
Comment your location to get help for approximate time in your local time, and also remember to encourage with your upvote if you find this helpful.
