MagicDice vs. KryptoGamers
Hey guys! Today I want to compare the two gambling websites that currently operate on the Steem blockchain: MagicDice and KryptoGamers!
These are the criteria I'm going to check:
- Usability
- House Edge
- Design
- Special Features
Usability
Both websites work pretty much the same way: You can roll using Steemconnect or the Steem Keychain wallet.
MagicDice
KryptoGamers
Both sites show your balance after logging in. On MagicDice you login using Steemconnect, on KryptoGamers using the Keychain wallet. I like the Keychain wallet, so I prefer the way KryptoGamers handles login.
A big advantage that MagicDice offers is the possibility to play with SBD and Steem, on KryptoGamers you can only play with Steem.
House Edge
MagicDice has a house edge of 2%. KryptoGamer's house edge is 1%.

Design
MagicDice recently updated it's design. It has a nice purple colour and the style in general looks "rounded".
KryptoGamers main colour is a dark blue. Personally I don't like this style that much because it feels kind of bald. ( But keep in mind that this site is pretty new)
Special Features
KryptoGamers doesn't have any special features at moment. (Because it was released only recently I guess).
MagicDice on the other hand has two great special features: A referral program and dividends.
The Referral Program
Refer a user and earn 10% of the house edge on all their bets.
This is how MagicDice describes it's program and it pretty much says everything. MagicDice already paid out more than 21000 Steem!
Dividends
Magic Dice rewards users for playing dice, referring new users or delegating STEEM Power with MAGIC tokens. MAGIC token holders will receive daily dividends from the profits that Magic Dice generates. There are 7 billion MAGIC tokens and 70% of the tokens are distributed to players on Magic Dice.
A cool feature. Dividends distribution will start in Feburary.
Summary
So all in one I would say MagicDice is the better betting site.
If you don't care about design, dividends or thr ref-program, KryptoGamers is the right site for you. But the dividends program on MagicDice is very promising and I wouldn't want to miss out on it.
Both sites plan to release more games soon. Of course keep in mind that KryptoGamers was released only recently and that many features will be released soon.
