I agree with much of what you're saying. Some sort of moderation system should be set in place. I'm pretty new here, but I can already see the problems you're describing.
There are so many people hoping that this will be a "get rich quick" scheme.

There was an earlier attempt called Tsu which failed spectacularly some time ago, for the exact same reasons.
