A weekly statement would be something along the lines of "we are still hiring and developing around the user experience projects we set forth in the roadmap" pretty much every week. Communities are underway now, with the mobile app just starting.
@sneak its fairly standard to get a regular update from companies on what is going on. Even if all it says is "we are still hiring and developing around the user experience projects we set forth in the roadmap"
You don't need to give private or sensitive details but more communication would keep people happy. Not everyone searches for the roadmap especially if they are new.
Agree, thats what i am saying, there should be a weekly statement from Steemit to the users......

Hi @sneak,
maybe not weekly, but it would be nice to hear frequently something from Steemit to keep the users motivated.....
A project plan, complete with dates, should be shared. If we're in the hiring phase, that would be clear and updates wouldn't be needed.
There are dates on nearly everything in the roadmap, if memory serves.
Our project plan is collaborative across the whole team and includes private internal discussions, so this probably isn't on the cards.
