Please change the 'Draft saved' timing

Just a small request: less auto saving the 'Draft' version of a post, while editing. It is really slowing typing speed down, to a part where it starts to get really annoying.

Does it need to be saved at every 'character stop' ? Specially on my mobile it is becoming quiete a challenge to post something. Could it be made a choice? Turn it on and off? Or with a button to safe it for later, just like in eSteem.
