I Cashed Out for the First Time!

SBD finally got back up to $1.80 USD per $1 SBD. While it was possible it might go even higher, I wasn't willing to take the risk after having missed out on $2.22 SBD per $1 USD a while ago. (Sorry, I got a few things switched around which made it very confusing. Fixed it now.)

The process was nerve-wrackng to say the least. I had read dozens of guides for cashing out, but I kept running into things they didn't cover, and they neglected to include a few overall details that I would've really liked to have been aware of. Those details would've helped to spared me from the massive panic attack I had from how overwhelming the whole process was. (I am not being dramatic in the slightest. I have severe anxiety issues and cashing out was extremely stressful for me.)

BUT IN THE END, I WAS SUCCESSFUL!

My first cash out resulted in $140 USD in my pockets. Money that will quickly be spent on necessities.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!

I couldn't have made that money without you, Steemit. Thank you so much your encouragement and support.

If anyone is trying to cash out with Bittrex and Coinbase and is finding themselves overwhelmed, please don't hesitate to ask me for help. I would be more than happy to walk through step by step it with you.

I would also be interested too see a step bu step guide on how the money went from here to bittrex to coinbase and into your hands.
Take care and steem on!

That would require me cashing out again, because I don't think I can manage to do it entirely step-by-step from memory without going through the process.

congrats, it would be nice if you made a step by step detail on the procedure. by the way how much sbd amouted to $140?

Thank you!

I plan on making a step-by-step guide when I cash out next, which will probably be when I hit around $20 again.

It was around $106 SBD that amounted to $140 USD. That's after fees and a small amount of loss between the time it took to sell my SBD for BTC, and a small amount of loss from BTC before I could convert that to USD.

I just spend BTC directly when I am hard up. I use Gyft to purchase gift cards for Target, Whole Foods, and when the house breaks Lowe's and Home Depot. Dash is also spendable via Bitcart on Amazon. 80$ Dash=100 Amazon gift card!

Not really viable options for us. Those places are too expensive to shop for us.

When I say we're poor, I mean we're dirt poor. Target is expensive! So is Whole Foods. When the house breaks? We break out a roll of duct tape and pray it holds for a few months.

Congratulations! Further more!

Thank you!

I was so afraid I'd screwed it up and that the money was gone forever! But when my husband came home from work, he handed me the cash, saying it turned up in our account while he was at work!

Such a huge relief!
