Steemit today has become part of our life and the first thing for many of us to get onto before we get on with life. As bloggers it becomes even more imperative for us to draft content that catches our viewers’ attention, keeps it and compels them to Upvote and Resteem it as well! Having said that, we also know the struggle behind coming up with that one perfect post!

HERE ARE 5 THINGS YOU MUST LOOK INTO WHILE DRAFTING YOUR POST.

  1. HAVE AN OBJECTIVE SET FOR YOUR POST

If you, yourself do not understand what you mean to do for the audience with your posts, then forget it because the audience won't be getting what you mean! The common categorization of any post can be done in two ways –ask yourself these two question- Is it educational? or Is it meant to engage? What i'm i really trying to achieve with this post? Once you have the answer to these questions, go ahead and ideate keeping them in mind.

  1. ALWAYS SET YOUR TONE RIGHT

We can all agree that each brand has a tone of communication that they follow when they are interacting with their audience.

The right tone will always help in keeping your follower’s attention on your page. It is usually best if you can keep your tone friendly, polite and conversational. The usage of right words and pronouns at the right place play a big role in making your content popular among your audience. Think of it this way – if the post comes on your timeline, what words do you need to put together to make you read the post?
(Ever come across posts that say – 500 upvotes within 20 minutes?)

  1. CONTENT LENGTH

so many posts are being posted here every moment around the clock, the users have a lot of options and are bombarded with interesting content to watch every single second! So if you are posting a very long content of write ups, the chances of people having that patience to read it is low,

  1. IMAGE & CONTENT PLACEMENT

As they say, “A picture speaks more than words in today’s social media scenario, and i will agree with that,Be creative with your lines and make a neat placement of the content! Few tips that can help are:

Let the image come before your post.

Avoid using sharp fonts as they psychologically make people think of sharp objects and pain.

Keeping faces in your posts makes your posts instantly like able as it provides a human touch – however make sure it is in line with what you are trying to communicate.

Neutral facial expressions win over expressive faces as it is up to the viewer’s interpretation.

  1. CALLING TO ACTION

Now you have your post, you have your amazing and creative content. But what do you want your audience to do with it? Ask them to Resteem, Upvote, and comment on it! Sentences like – “Share it with your loved ones,”Comment your opinions” have very good value as you are encouraging them to interact with you!

And there you have it! the 5 simple ways to create a winning post!
