Meetup Title: STEEM/SteemIt.com: The Blockchain Based Social Network that Pays YOU to Share Content
Background: I've been the organizer or co-organizer of this Meetup since 2014. We've done deep technical dives into the technology behind Bitcoin, Ethereum (back in January 2016), and now STEEM.

The concept of a blockchain based social network has been discussed for years. It's happening now on SteemIt.com and the STEEM blockchain.
Bryan will share his own "success story", teach you how to get started on the site, give a bit of technical background on how STEEM works, and show you how to install and use the command line interface.
If you want to get started right away, we recommend that you bring your laptop.

Thanks @tralawar. This is a smart group of people and some have been into Bitcoin since as early as 2011(!) Many of them will be even more interested in the technical aspects than the prospects of making money (although most of like not being broke as well).
I just your saw poweruppledge. (Was heading out the door upon reading this the first time..) I'd give it a second upvote if I could! It important to keep investing Fiat into Crypto as it is Steem Dollars into Steem Power.
