Steemit Upgrade

Greetings Everyone.
Few weeks back, the steemit.com platform had a glitch. This glitch was responsible for inability to Login, make post, transfer, upload pictures and other activity problem.
This glitch was as a result of upgrade of the platform from;

With this upgrade, @Steemit;has being "BETA" indeed! More features were added for the smooth running of the system.

Added Features and what they do.

Some of the features added are;

1. The Google Custom Search
This feature is located at the top right of every page; immediately after the Steemit Logo.

What is it used for?

This feature is used for quick search of word(s) on Steemit. Typing and searching a word, it deplays results related to Steemit.

2. Tags Dropbox
These drop-downs are found on the "Feed page". Where one can easily search for posts on a particular #Tag; either Trending, New, Hot or Promoted

3. Reward Feature.

Before the upgrade, Steemit rewards Authors with Steem Power (SP) and SBD only; but after the upgrade, the platform now rewards Authors with STEEM.

Those who set their Reward Claim on AUTO using steemauto.com might not have noticed this.

4. Paypouts.

Before the upgrade, one could only see it's payout in SBD and SP after 7days but after upgrade the payout (at the moment) in SBD and SP is displayed on the dropbox under the post (excluding the curator rewards)

5. The Welcome Page

Before the Upgrade, when a returning user logs in, the Welcome page doesn't appear but after the upgrade, at every log in, there is a Welcome Page, in the page it shows users how to use the platform and answer texts FAQ. So users can find their way around the platform and understand every words.
