Alpha, Beta....!!!! SoFtWaRe!!!

Long before a computer program is shipped to the customer, software testing is performed by independent testers.
Testing can be done on the following levels:
Unit testing tests individual pieces of the software. Each basic component of the software is tested to verify that the
design has been implemented correctly.
In the second kind of test, integration testing, progressively larger groups of tested software units are integrated and
tested until the software is working as a system. Then system testing check the whole system to see that it works.
Before shipping the final version, alpha and beta testing is often done.
Alpha testing is testing by potential users/ customers.
Beta testing comes after alpha testing.
Version of the software, known as beta version, are released to a limited audience to make sure the product has few faults or bugs.!
