Do marijuana smokers make more sex than others?

Researchers at Stanford University argue that yes, and in quite significant percentages.
Now all that remains to be examined is whether marijuana also improves the quality of sex

There is a chance that this contradicts everything you believed in, certainly if you visited India, but a survey by the Stanford University School of Medicine found that Cannabis users actually have a lot more sex than others.

The study contained information from a national survey of family growth in the United States from 2002 to 2015, involving 50,000 heterosexual participants aged 25-45, who were asked how many times they had sex in the four weeks prior to the survey, and how often they smoked marijuana the previous year,
About 25 percent of men and 15 percent of women in the survey reported using marijuana.

The results showed that women who smoked marijuana every day had an average of 7.1 sex in the four weeks prior to the survey, compared with women who did not smoke at all and averaged 6 times in the weeks preceding the survey. Among men, the results were: 6.9 times for those who smoked daily and 5.6 for those who did not smoke at all.
In other words, cannabis smokers do an average of 20 percent more sex than others.

The association was found in all subgroups of the study - including people of both sexes, different races, ages and religions, those who were married or single and with or without children.
The relationship remained even after the researchers introduced various variables such as the use of other drugs, such as cocaine and alcohol.
It means there is something in the drug itself that increases sexual function, the researchers explained, or at least does not inhibit it.

The authors of the study, published in the journal Sexual Medicine, explained that despite the results, it is not necessarily a direct relationship between the two.
"We do not want people to start smoking marijuana because they think they're going to have more sex," he said.
"It's quite possible that people who use marijuana have similar properties, such as lower inhibitions, like those who have more sex."

"The effects of marijuana on sexual function may vary from person to person," the authors write.
In a 2003 article, they cited a review of 51 percent of marijuana users reporting high sexual arousal, while 26 percent reported a decrease.
The researchers also highlighted findings from past studies suggesting that small amounts of marijuana can improve sexual function, while larger amounts can actually hurt it.

The study examined only the frequency of sex but did not know whether the quality was improving.
More research is needed to determine whether marijuana also affects important elements of sexual relations such as erection and orgasm.
