I have looked at the figure of the website hits and i want to share with everyone a bit of research i am doing on Steemit and compare it with i believe its main competition Reddit
I will do this every week to show everyone the different between the two sites and
Whats the Traffic numbers? For The Sites
The Traffic Coming to Steemit As you see 2 Million increase in May which is very exciting
As you can see miles bigger number for Reddit
People spend more time on Reddit than Steemit
People visit more pages on Reddit than Steemit
As well the bounce rate which means people visiting one page and leaving the site is high for steemit
That is maybe due to new members starting up but i like to see that lower and it becomes more popular
What is The Global Ranking 's of the websites ?
As You can see Reddit is miles a head in terms of rankings
Steemit need to first get into the top 1000 websites in the world then move on from there it will take some time
Steemit is still in the growth phase and will take some to overcome the big name of reddit but slow but sure it will get there

for sure there plenty of growth compare with reddit its getting over a billion visits a month
I'm not sure it will get there without a few changes. I am really enjoying Steemit so far, but struggle to navigate through the different topics compared to Reddit. The monetary side of things is strange too - not sure if it will eventually put people off. It's really difficult to escape being a minnow!
The communities own value steem the big it becomes the more value it has the steem dollars. yeah for sure time is the only way to escape being a minnow. You need use the platform a lot and i would say it take at least a year to start earn from posts any real income. If buy a lot of steam power this also boost you. Your own personal investment.
