Its getting Harder To earn On Steemit
I made that up for a laugh I hope you enjoyed
I have noticed that its getting tougher to earn the same amount of Steem and Steem dollars from the same posts as it was only a few months a go.
My upvote power has decreased about $1 in the past month. It has decreased in my view very fast in the past few months.
This means that new accounts are being opened and more new people are coming into the platform and that Steem is being giving to new account holders.
As new accounts are opened they are given Steem from the reward pool
This means that more people are chasing the same reward pool as it was a few or months ago.
This is a good and a bad thing as it means more users on the platform and more interest and in the end more people on the website.
More people will mean in the end more people wanting to buy Steem and they will want to advertise and interact with these people.
It can be argued a bad thing because its more competition on the platform for the same amount of rewards
It is getting harder to earn even on the platform what will it be like in 2 years who knows but certain my upvote will be very low if it decreases at the current rate.

I don't agree that "new accounts are being opened and more new people are coming into the platform and that Steem is being giving to new account holders". If you pay close attention to the reward distribution, you may find that more and more rewards go to the owner of bots. Most of the whales prefer voting for their own accounts to get the maximum return instead of finding out the best posts.
I have once given it a thought. Don't know how through it is anyways.
Basically, you are saying it´s bad to get more users on Steemit? Can you explain why it will decrease?
its not a bad a thing but it creates more competition in the reward pool and the dilution of people current with upvotes and in turn will become harder to earn

only way for more upvote power is to buy steem.
