@newhyt handle is dedicated to offer free community services through NewHeight voluntary VALUE campaign program

The sole aim is to help institutionalize VALUE through the promotion of topnotch, quality contents on this platform. Value and only value will be promoted and the authors celebrated.

This program is primarily to the benefit of individual members of the community. But a more important part is the long term plan, whose success will correct certain misconceptions about the Steem mining structure and sustain steemit on the right track.

In a nutshell, this is my effort to encourage you to give more in terms of quality contents so that together, we can make this place a worthy home for knowledge seekers.

We can't be tall and short at the same time. If we are for value, we must, therefore, do away with junk of all colors, plagiarized junk, falsified junk, unverifiable junk and other gibberish of similar characteristics.

Then, to enthrone value will be our moral obligation and, as a matter of need, a culture that will be held dearly by the members of this community. It is constantly necessary to talk to our consciences in a manner that makes us appreciate what we have. Every member will be expected to accept this moral obligation and play a good part, big or small, towards a healthy growth of steemit.

Encouraging and rewarding topnotch contents:

Obviously, the lifeline of steemit.com has a firm link to the contents it holds. With the increasing number of users, most of whom are contributors, this platform is transforming into a knowledge archive.

While monetary reward is a huge driving force in spurring steemians to do what they do here, passion is another factor that must not be ignored.

Some posts I've read here are made to pass useful information to the members of this ecosystem. Some posters under this category have little or no interest on how well their posts can be curated so long the aim of passing the respective information is purely achieved.

And for those with monetary interest, in most cases, they are either oblivious of the positive ROI upvote-bots or don't know how to go about using them. Some of those who made attempts have gotten their fingers burnt with negative returns.

How do we encourage such people to do more?

How do we express the fact that the esteemed members of this ecosystem appreciate useful information?

@newhyt will be focusing on appreciating value in the following ways:

1. Search and upvote at least 5 worthy blogs each day.
2. Resteem the upvoted posts.
3. And sometimes, award a good percentage of its SBD to the best author of the day. Such award will be very often and the money will simply be transferred to the authors as a means of encouraging them to do more.

Unlike Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies, Steem blockchain relies on a unique mining approach which involves the witnesses. And on this very platform, steemit.com, when a post or comment is upvoted, it's originally meant to be an acknowledgment that a value has been added and a way of rewarding that value.

It has been made known that the server which sustains our blockchain is pretty expensive and every single activity that takes place on the blockchain strikes a reduction to the broadband.

For this reason and more, it's the most appropriate thing to do that both old and new members of this community insist on sending the very signal that will promote useful, quality contents and discourage members from posting things that will bring unnecessary encumbrances to the server.

On this, emphasis is necessary today because the expected upvoting ethic seems to have been unfairly compromised. The upvoting pattern has drifted to a pay-for-vote system.

This is a system that can snub topnotch contents that did not pay to be upvoted and upvote a pile of junk that paid. It is certainly not very healthy for this ecosystem.

So, mostly for posters who, for some reasons, rely on organic upvotes, if their posts are good, sharing, resteeming, upvoting and featuring such blog on my daily publication is my way of saying Weldon. And occasionally, I will be sending appraisal packages to some of these authors. These packages could be SBD or Steem, just as much as I can afford.

To Support this Campaign

Consider replicating what I'm doing here - appreciate only good contents and encourage the authors to do more.

My SP is pretty low now, you could as well support this program by delegating some SP to me @newhyt to help make my upvoting worthwhile.
