Is there any room for Changetip on Steemit?

It's a simple question really. 

Steemit is a passive way to reward good content, but what if you want to be more direct? Perhaps you want to help someone raise funds to go to Anarchapulco. (Which between you and me is my secret goal) An up vote just isn't going to do it, but being able to send significant amounts of Bitcoin via changetip might be just the ticket.

Changetip suffers with maximum tip amounts. It used to be $25. And of course it suffers from what it has always suffered from. It's easier just to fund a Bitcoin address, even if it's not as pretty.

Writing this blog leaves me wondering if perhaps direct tipping is not already in the works for Steemit. I think perhaps there is a home for it here.
