How I've noticed people are making more money on STEEMIT

it seems like a lot of the highest earners have a strong following on youtube & other social media sites and constantly link to there steemit profiles.

But what If you're just getting started?

• Comments. You don't need to make a whole bunch of posts, Commenting on trending posts and getting upvoted is just as profitable.

• Humour. Short, witty posts ftw.

• A few people have mentioned hanging out on the Steemit chatroom has been useful.

• Don't copy & paste shit.

• If you have you're own blog/website. Write an article about your experience on steemit.

• Don't always pick generic categories for your post. Write about something you actually enjoy & might have less new posts being added.

I'd love to hear other peoples thoughts from there experience so far. For me it's already becoming quite addictive and I'm still fairly new on here :D
