WHY I THINK STEEMIT WILL CHANGE THE WORLD
STEEMIT is a global platform connecting the thoughts of many from around the globe. You get to see flowers, you get to see quizzes, some porn, some ramblings, various languages, some deep thoughts, cryptocurrency blogs, book reviews, music, giveaways, ghost stories, travel blogs, restaurant blogs and all kinda stuff .
It is like standing in the middle of Times Square and trying to listen to everybody and trying to get yourself heard amidst the plethora of distractions.
It is in every way far bigger than that. It is bringing the world onto a single platform and you can be heard in many corners of the world from your living room. Imagine your thoughts being echoed across a computer screen to a country you never heard of. People sharing their cultures, their likes and loves and dislikes. You begin to realize that it is ONE HUMANITY. WE ARE FAR MORE ALIKE THAN DIFFERENT. We begin to like each other. The realization dawns upon us that the forces that have created barriers between us, may it be religion, politics, nationalistic notions etc are all a mirage. A facade created for motives that are not in human favor.
You start to realize that thousands of miles away a war raging in another country shattering the lives of people is an affliction upon your brothers and sisters and it affects us all regardless of distance.
You start to realize that a child dying of hunger somewhere else is just as precious as your own child sleeping comfortably in his bedroom.
That's human consciousness globally being created and fostered at a grand scale, the likes of wich we have never seen. This growth will be tremendous.This will help us get rid of for oppressors as we understand the deceptions better. It is growth of the global consciousness and its widespread links that gives rise to ideas like STEEMIT. It is not the other way around. Then in a loop of infinite propulsion both aspects grow.
Getting to know each other will make us like each other because even today, and perhaps more so than ever before, the world is full of good people.
This is about breaking down the institutions of power that have stood between us and told us to kill each other while they sell to both sides the means to kill each other.
STEEMIT is a platform creating a new global wisdom, new global growth of humanity and new human cooperation.
The world needs it NOW.

That is a beautiful perspective, it brought warmth to my heart. I was an Aid worker in another life, so i have seen some very sad thing in my time. Knowing that there are people like you, to enlighten others (of a perhaps undiscovered ) to this perspective, is one of the reasons I still have hope that we all will be able to mend this damaged world.
