Five Things About My Country
Hello Y'all
It is nice to see steemit doing great once again and with the 100 days of steem initiative i believe it would go a long way to help steem get back to its glory days. So without wasting much time let me dive into five things about country Hope you enjoy.
Five Things I Like About My Country
So first and foremost i come from Ghana in the Western Part of Africa, a country of about 30 million population with 16 regions and a diversied number of cultures and people. We do have some wonderful architecture and tourist attraction sites worth seeing on your holidays and we can boast of incredible hospitality that you probably have never encountered anywhere before. We have the the largest man made lake in West Africa, called Lake Volta and can boast of our beautiful Lake Bosotwe which was formed by an asteroid supposedly. Our geographical region is just perfect for anyone seeking to tan in the summer along beautiful beaches. We have some of the best educational system in west africa and africa as a whole with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology been adjourned best university in west africa in the past few weeks. We have some of the best herbal medicine practices in Ghana and i vehemently believe that should the government give them the chance something good may yet come out in the fight against the covid19 pandemic. So in summary the five things i love about my country are our great tourist attraction sites, the diversity in culture, our wonderful education system, our geographical location on the map and hospitality of the people
Five things i do not like about my country
As much as i love my country and would not want to be anywhere else but home, there some few things i'd rather see differently operated. First is the political way of life in the country, almost everything is made into politics somethings to the neglect of the detrimental effects on the general population. Then also there is the issue about illiteracy rate, a country's growth also depends to some extent on the knowledge of his people and i would like to see the rate improve drastically even as governments do their best against this. The 3rd would be the neglect for agricultural development, the country until the pandemic recently used to import everything including agricultural produce which we could really do ourselves as we have rich soil that support growth of numerous vegetation. The 4th would be inadequate industrialization practice. Whiles we are a country blessed with lots of rich goods and minerals, we tend to export these raw include crude oil without refining which we means we do not get to have the best of what god gave us. The last thing i would talk about is the unemployment rate which seem to rise and fall when we could be encouraging lots of youth into entrepreneurship and encourage them financially to have they own something going.
Well basically the things i dislike i would love to see them change and so i would end here and say a big thank to @steemitblog and the great people working hard to make steem great again. Until we meet again. Ciao
