This is Where I'm At: Trial set for February 7-8, 2018
Steemit! I've been "gone" a while. At times, I may occasionally post or reply to a comment on Steemit. My primary focus has been on my family and creating tranquility in my life; something it lacks. It's been made clear that people are wanting an update, so here it is!
Trial was set for November 15, 2017. At 3:30pm, November 14th, my attorney called and informed me of yet another bullshit plea offer. My reply was pretty much stuff it up your ass and I was prepared to meet them at trial, with my own expert witness or not. At 4:30 pm my attorney called me, yet again, to tell me that the trial was delayed and the prosecution requested and was granted a continuance. The excuse offered was that there was a CHIPs case (child custody) and it would take both days. A court appearance was scheduled for the 15th, but it was just a pretrial hearing and I did not need to be present. I went anyways.
BULLSHIT!
Of the eighteen years considered to be childhood under U.S. law, I spent twelve of those years as a ward of the state. Of each year spent in captivity, I spent an entire afternoon either in a holding cell or conference room, then ten minutes in a courtroom being talked about as if I wasn’t present and was unable to understand what it was they were saying about me. After that it was back to my foster home, group home, boot camp, juvenile correction facility or whatever other hovel they had me stuck in. At each instance my case details were listed on the court schedule posted outside the court room. In juvenile matters the initials of the defendants are listed and with CHIPs it is something to the effect of “In the matter of N A P.” When I arrived at the courthouse I immediately went to each of the three courtrooms and checked the schedule. The following three days were posted on each. Not one mention of a juvenile case. For the remainder of the week there was only pretrial conferences, each scheduled fifteen and thirty minutes apart. It took two weeks to reschedule.
RIGHT NOW
At this point trial is scheduled for February 7 and 8, 2018 at 8:30 am. I now have an expert witness, though I will not say until after trial, who it is or what my strategy and defense is. It is clear that the government is having trouble covering its’ lies with additional lies and is afraid of being exposed. I will not be surprised one bit if there is yet again, another delay. I expect more backdoor deals with the judge to deprive me of a fair trial, Giglio violations, as has been par for the course to date. Again, the assistant DA trying my case has stated that he would prefer to leave my Rights intact, as if he could take them, and that Jeff Kemp is behind all of this. Jeff Kemp, the attorney who has not been known to try even a single case in his entire "career" as an attorney. A few of my brothers "out west" have come to the conclusion that a career of a certain politician ride on this case. I guess when you knock on the devil's door long enough you need to expect someone to answer.
I am wholly confident that I will be found NOT GUILTY by a jury as I have been telling the TRUTH from the start and as such, I do not have to try to remember what lies were told in the future. I simply go to court and tell the truth. What will be will be.
I have lived by the motto
When in doubt; do something unexpected.
It has benefited me immensely.
Jeffrey Kemp, perhaps you should revisit this old adage:
The truth shall set you free.
When I was arrested, the only statement I made to the arresting officer was this: "I am telling the truth. The beautiful thing about the truth is that it's so easy to tell. You do not have that luxury." A quote from Ammon Bundy. This statement enraged the Oathsayer, Joel Langer.
To my community and my audience, ask yourself this; can a man who abuses the power entrusted to him by his constituents be trusted? He is a public servant; treat him like one. We The People hold the power.
MAY THE TRUTH SET YOU FREE.
IF THAT FAILS HERE IS TO JURY NULLIFICATION!
Not for me. The words "jury nullifcation" "my future" and "my client's future" and mentions of losing rights are thrown out since the judge granted the prosecutor's motion to exclude those defenses, among others.
Also, the statement "put yourself in my client's shoes."
Sounds more like a circus than a court room...
good luck on your performance then.
