But when this opportunity presented itself, I asked my boss about the kitten's customs, her personal care, her food and decided it was time to have a pet.

Without warning, I showed up at the house with my dear and tender Dulcinea, her previous owner took us to the door of the building, said goodbye in the sweetest way, took pictures and sent her food, her toys and everything she could need. It also made me promise that I would keep her up to date on the development of her beautiful feline.

When we got home with her, the first reaction of the children was disappointing, they thought when they saw me carry something hairy, that it was a puppy, and when verifying that it was not like that, their expressions did not wait: "A cat?", "No , I thought it was a puppy! She, feeling that she was not welcome, remained in a corner of the house, barely moved and did not dare to move from the living room to the hallway. He settled under the sofa for a few hours, then began a slow journey.

The next day he was able to cross the hall to the kitchen, and the children began to caress her very little by little, then they took her and struggled to have her. Even the oldest of them, already a teenager, began to show affection with her.
We began to look for a name to change the one he had, some appeared as Andromeda, Estrella, Cleopatra, but in the end we decided to leave his original name, since in fact it was too sweet, honoring his name, which is also historical, (being the name of the imaginary bride of Quixote de La Mancha, from Cervantes).

Time passed and she became another member of the family, everyone feeds her and takes care of her, it's like a stuffed animal with life that everyone carries and caresses, and obviously she lets herself be loved ...

One December he left home, we thought he had met his playmates in the yard, but did not return. The next day we started to worry when he didn't seem to claim breakfast, and we started looking around the building and in the neighboring buildings.

The concierge in the building next door told me that he was feeding several cats that were approaching his door at night, and that night we went to see if he was approaching. It was not so. At midnight we heard her meowing on the second floor and we saw her trapped in some ventilation blocks, we rescued her, we bathed her and fed her, and she has never moved from her house, beyond the house of the neighbors, where she always walks provoke the dog, which runs and makes it enter the house agitatedly seeking refuge.

And so, Dulcinea arrived to stay in our lives, making each family member care about her and enjoy her company.
