Understanding NSFW Tags With "hide_nsfw_pictures" !!!

Steemit has a Tag which is in a special setting to protect the privacy of users in publishing content that is not eligible to appear in general. This special tagging named NSFW (Not Safe For Work) is very unsafe if it appears to users in general, that's why Steemit has a special setting for this tag. For users of these tags steemit generally those who post content is too vulgar, or bloody incarnation that is not worth appearing spontaneously in the blog steemit that will be seen by millions of users around the world, with various tribes and nations.

It aims to automatically hide content or images that allow users not to be automatically displayed on their computers or on their HandPhone screen while browsing Steemit, Authorizing users to work through their content with specially created rules, but for the steemians others, who work openly because they are not appropriate for the context in which they use their computers in public places, or they do not want to see vulgar content especially users with NSFW content or hide inappropriate content appearing against children.

NSFW has a special setting that is in your account username profile in the settings, the Not safe For Work column has three options

• Always hide (Always hide)
• Always warn (Always Warn)
• Always show (Always Show)

1. Always Hide

This is the default setting or default that is enabled automatically this aims to protect inappropriate content automatically appear on your blog homepage, content using NSFW tags will appear in protection without any post images "hide_nsfw_pictures", which passes your homepage if people which you follow using this tagging.

2. Always Warn

This is the second option, if you want to approve the content to appear with your consent, then you are allowed to open to view the contents of the content in publish.

3. Always Show

This will display content that uses NSFW tags like the common content we see on the homepage, with no protection anymore, what content is in publish then that will be visible.

Steemit can still vote for everyone without offending anyone. All it takes is the NSFW tag as a special tag for content that is considered vulgar, and can also be used by users to block content from their own feeds and longer trending pages by enabling one of the 3 categories of options provided.

Nevertheless, some of the postitive impacts of the presence of NSFW tags and has several benefits:

• NSFW is not a complete content censor, Anyone can still upload anything to the steemit site if you open the settings in the always show, and nobody can choose to delete them. and this will be a protection against content that is eligible to perform or should be done "hide_nsfw_pictures".

• Someone can Allow and do not want to be exposed to certain content to browse freely. Finally, content using NSFW tags will make parents reluctant to let their children join Steemit (Think of the Children!). This function can solve the problem. while maintaining default settings Always Hide (hiding content that is not appropriate to appear against children)
