As you've said, you must be quite desperate to be doing this. It takes courage to come out so openly so i wish you all the best for your venture and hope you can do what you love..and be successful at it..

I was very kindly pointed in the direction of #SteemGigs by @steevc. See if there is anything there that can be of help.
If you have a decent workstation/ PC to run, then I'd also suggest to explore a few things on the blockchain without putting in too much money.
