What has caused steemit to go from 6$ to cents?

I have not being arround for a long time.

My older account was lost because of forgotten password and i lost all the money in it.

Yet i creatrd this new account and upon checking the price it went from 6$ to cents! And when i checked the price predictions it srrms that it will never go up to any thing more than 2$ in the next 5 years!.

So what has caused this dramatic price decrease and is steemit worth it any more?

Can i 8nvest in steempower?
How much is the least good ammount to invest in steempower?
