Steemit Community in Indonesia Helps Flood Victims
Steemit.com's social media activists from the Nanggroe Steemit Community (NSC) and the Steemit Indonesia Community (KSI) helped flood victims in Aceh Utara from revenue through the social media platform. Within days of collecting donations amounting to Rp.13,9 million from Steemians.
One of the founders of donations, @safwaninisam said, post-flooding in North Aceh initiative to raise funds from Steemians. Since December 6, noon until December 8, midnight opens a wallet of Rp. 13,917,876.
"The number of donation suppliers is 69 steemias from various regions in the country, including from Bandung, Medan and most of Aceh, because currently most of the Steemians in Indonesia are in Aceh province," said @safwaninisam accompanied by Indonesian Curator, @levycore.
While the other donation initiator from NSC, @abunagaya accompanied by Indonesia Kurator @aiqabrago mention, donation form they received vary. As in the form of Steem, Steem Dollars (SBD) cash, and non-cash. Steem and SBD are the rewards of posting in Steemit.
Details, as many as 35 Steemians send donations in the form of Steem. Then the contributor in the form of SBD as many as 27 Steemians. The price of 1 SBD in the previous two days rose to the highest level of nearly Rp300 thousand. While the rest are donors in the form of non-cash through bank accounts and in cash or directly give money.
While the aid is in the form of basic materials, household needs, and stationery given to the worst flooded refugees in Lhoksukon, Matangkuli and surrounding areas through the Society Social Workers Association (IPSM). Delivery was made on Saturday December December by Steemians volunteers in North Aceh District and Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province, Sumatra Island.
NSC dan KSI Bantu Korban Banjir Aceh Utara
Pegiat media sosial Steemit.com dari Nanggroe Steemit Community (NSC) dan Komunitas Steemit Indonesia (KSI) membantu korban banjir di Aceh Utara dari pendapatan melalui platform media sosial tersebut. Dalam beberapa hari mengumpulkan donasi sebesar Rp13,9 juta dari steemians.
Salah seorang penggagas donasi, @safwaninisam mengatakan, pascabanjir besar di Aceh Utara pihak berinisiatif menggalang dana dari Steemians. Sejak tanggal 6 Desember siang sampai 8 Desember tengah malam membuka dompet penyaluran berhasil terkumpul Rp13,917.876.
“Jumlah penyalur donasi sebanyak 69 steemias dari berbagai daerah di Tanah Air, termasuk dari Bandung, Medan dan paling banyak dari Aceh, karena saat ini Steemians terbanyak di Indonesia ada di Provinsi Aceh,” ujar @safwaninisam didampingi Kurator Indonesia, @levycore.
Sementara penggagas donasi lainnya dari NSC, @abunagaya didampingi Kurator Indonesia @aiqabrago menyebutkan, bentuk donasi mereka terima beragam. Seperti dalam bentuk Steem, Steem Dollars (SBD) tunai, dan nontunai. Steem dan SBD adalah bentuk hadiah dari postingan di Steemit.
Rincianya, sebanyak 35 Steemians mengirim donasi dalam bentuk Steem. Lalu penyumbang dalam bentuk SBD sebanyak 27 Steemians. Harga 1 SBD dalam dua hari sebelumnya naik ke level tertinggi hampir mencapai Rp300 ribu. Sementara sisanya adalah penyumbang dalam bentuk nontunai melalui rekening bank dan dalam bentuk tunai atau langsung memberi uang.
Sedangkan bantuan ini berupa sembako, kebutuhan rumah tangga, dan alat tulis diberikan kepada pengungsi banjir terparah di kawasan Lhoksukon, Matangkuli, dan sekitarnya melalui Ikatan Pekerja Sosial Masyarakat (IPSM). Penyerahan dilakukan pada Sabtu tanggal Desember oleh relawan Steemians di Kabupaten Aceh Utara dan Kota Lhokseumawe, Provinsi Aceh.
