Steemit posts should bump to the top of NEW every hour for 24 hours

You may have seen or read my previous post where I suggested that voting stats should be hidden for 12 hours including voting counts, who voted, the age of the post and the reward amount.

Since I am full of ideas today I just came up with another idea. I live in South Africa and as people know from other platforms like Reddit the time of the day that you make you post makes a big difference as to whether you post will be seen and by how many people. I do not want to have to worry about posting at optimal times when the most users are awake.

So I have come up with the idea that every hour that elapsed after you make a post your post gets bumped back up to the top of the new section. So if I make a post at 8:14 UTC it will appear at the top of new again at 9:14, 10:14 and so on until 24 hours have elapsed. This means each post will get equal exposure across the whole world.

Now as for my previous post where I said stats should be hidden for 12 hours, to make this change the most fair to everyone the stats should probably be hidden for 24 hours and not 12 hours.

I can see some arguments against this as in people browsing the new section will see what appears to be a lot of duplicate posts at the top of the feed throughout the day. To fix this you may hide posts on new if they have already been displayed for this logged in user before or have a way to flag posts as read causing them to no be displayed again for that user.

This post is really just to get the idea out there rather than come up with an exact solution and implementation. However if implemented you can safely make posts any time of the day and know that you will get a full 24 hours of exposure without worrying that most of the world might be asleep.

You might also argue that new posts will be pushed down in new much quicker however it will make up for that by begin bumped to the top 24 times in total.
