Ripple is a b2b token which is trying to replace Swift. It is completely pre-mined and destroys itself upon use. The value will go up naturally as the supply is diminished. Ripple is good for you if you are in institutional banking
Steemit is about monetizing your IP. Intellectual property is forever being created.
In the end, by the time these currencies are adopted, regular people will not know they are dealing with Ripple or Steem or footlocker tokens. It will all be coded and under the surface of the new Web.
I am using bittrex and currently holding Maidsafe. Now I want to invest in any other currency which has potential. Whenever I read about currency of future, almost everyone has included Ripple in their list of recommended currency. Can you please tell me which currency is most undervalued at this time and has a potential of getting up. (Under 1$)
I always "suggest" to anyone who is buying ANY crypto that one of them should be ripple. That way, when you have your bankroll cut in half (new buyers only as 2011 buyers don't really care if prices get cut in half) you will have something to drown your sorrows in. Also, altho ALL cryptos are for "lively" people...ripple is the only one that winks back at you. :-)
You must consider the difference and the fact that you don't have to buy steem, you can just get some for blogging...
Both Ripple and Steem have way too big supply, so I don't suggest any of them...
Take a look at Unobtanium and you can just sort coinmarketcap by supply
Thank you for commenting, can you please "educate" us further about Unobtanim, I just googled it and it is already trading it at 39$. How much juice is still left in it is the big question :)
Both are more likely to have a future if what is written is true. But, no one really knows. I put money in both.
Same here. I am also going to invest in both . Diversification is always good :)

From a small investor's prospective who can hold it for long term, do you think it will be worth holding both ? (Comparing them with bitcoin)
If you can get a hold of Ripple. They're will to sell directly to financial institutions, but otherwise Ripple isn't supported in New York State.
Coinbase doesn't support it and the few ledger wallets I have looked at all have no further plans to support it. I'm assuming you're on Poloniex?
I'm in longterm positions with a number of currencies and I am also mining.

honestly no one knows. I focus on currencies that have specific application like Siacoin which is focused on providing decentralized storage.
Thank you! Will keep an eye on Siacoin
