My first SteemAway was very encouraging and this exciting contest is building nicely. Like any new idea it takes several times of exposure before it really sinks in for people, which is fine in this case because the transparent book keeping Graphene ledger allows us to do this in an additive fashion.

My goal is to show these artists they can get cash in hand in 12 hours after their SteemAway. At least in the beginning I don't want to make it too difficult by involving STEEMPOWER to them, so the minimum payout required will be STEEM Dollars.

SANTA FE PAST AND PRESENT
Being the West's Mecca of Southwest Art, Santa Fe draws artists and art lovers by the thousands, and I am forever driven to capture some of the most colorful and powerful ancient forms and designs; it's something that comes from within me, rather by painting what I'm looking at. Pueblo forms, both old and modern, seem to touch the heart.

OLD ROAD HOME
From my on-going New Mexico Village Series. The old villages throughout New Mexico, especially in the north of the state, are like time capsules from the native cultures, with such a sense of aliveness and color, where the old meets and blends with the modern world. I feel inspired in trying describe or interpret old villages, trying always to express more than to detail these amazing communities.

TAOS COUNTRY
This painting reflects the rich rolling hills of these timeless villages of the native cultures, especially with the pueblo tradition. This is also that has inspired so many great art careers, like Georgia O'Keeffe"s and RC Gorman. I have a love affair with many of these timeless places surrounding the Taos region.
