Disruptive Generation
In The Begging
I call this generation and all those actively involved in Steemit as a "disruptive generation". Why so you may ask? Well, you just have to look at the policies of say YouTube to realize that the small players do not stand a chance to earn what I believe is fair rewards for the hard earned work they put into creating some of the most fantastic videos you have ever seen. Here comes Steemit, write whats on your mind and the crowd jumps in to support your efforts. You get paid doing it too, how marvelous is that!
They Hate It
The large corporations that control almost all forms of media and social platforms today finally have met their match, the crowd and their disruptive technology. Blockchain based technologies, distributed ledgers, distributed consensus all brings about the real will and vision of this generation. This is just the beginning, knowledge and technology belongs to all and through Steemit, we will discover worlds we though never existed. But be weary, the Octopus corporations will not be pleased. Personally I fell what happened to Ethereum with the DAO hack (read about it here) was an effort by the powers that be to disrupt the disruptive technology but consensus prevailed and though the crowd, the system evolved to Ethereum Classic and Ethereum, pure democracy!
