Is Steem meant to be A Social media Site or A Blogging site or Just Place where famous and wealthy people get richer ??! Discussion Post

To be Honest , I Can't really get my mind on one of those .

As Posts keep saying it is the new growing social media site "The New Facebook" , While it doesn't have that much social media website features : ( No Profile Picture , Phone Number , Details about the user and Not even a chat system ) , It's closer to a blogs and so on .
As a matter of fact Blogging Helps little authors and writers to start and get their foot on the right direction , But what i clearly see here , Big authors , investors and famous people those are the ones that is really enjoying it .
Like Mr @dollarvigilante Said in his last debate . it's gonna attract big actors and ones with big base of fans . which we hopefully like to see happen , But that's just going to kill new and little users . That's going to bury them alive .
You can see such thing in the trending page . I checked most of the posts , most of them are written by well known authors or just by a normal user who quoted an article that a well known author wrote .
At last , That's just my opinion , No Hard Feelings and if it meant to be a Social Media site then developers should start adding some new features to enable it grow faster .
