What a start of the "Crypto Year"
I don't know how to start this post, should I start with cryptocurrencies or with my life or with what.
Not even 3 days passed after we set foot in 2018 and it already "exploded".
Let's start with cryptocurrencies, lot of them started to heal up after that bitcoin big drop around 2 weeks ago but some of them, not just they healed, they went to the moon too.
Let's start with our most loved coin, Steem
Steem
Literally three days ago, on 31st december, steem was priced around 2.8$ and Market Cap was 664M $. Just one day after, on January 1st, Steem hit all time high of 4.51$ and Market Cap jumped for more than 100M $.
Today steem hit 8$, it didn't just hit it, it went even more, to around 8.5$ and it's still growing! And Market Cap went over 1.9 billion $, almost 2 billion dollars.
On the other side, Steem Dollars move between 10$ and 11$, and grows slowly but surely.

My predictions for Steem are that it will hit even 10$ how it started, but I am pretty sure it will be little correction somewhere between 10$-12$, if it hits.
Cardano
Cardano is cryptocurrency few people expected that will grow this big.
On 31st December it was around .7$ and Market Cap was just 16,6B $, but today it decided to go to 1,07$ with Market Cap over 27B $.

I think it can easily go to somewhere between 1.5$ and 2$ maybe even more but I won't invest in it for now.
Ripple
Ripple is cryptocurrency we talked most about for last few weeks. It's on second place after passing Ethereum few days ago and at that time it was arount 1,8$.
Now it is approaching 3$, sitting right on 2.9$ with Market Cap over 112B $, with over 26B $ difference on Ethereum's Market Cap.

And for the end, biggest suprise for all cryptocurrency lovers
Stellar
$0.339301- that is the price of Stellar on December 31st 2017
$0,832938- that is the price of Stellar on January 3rd 2018
It went up for over 45% and it can't stop growing. Market cap tripled from 31st from 5,6 B $ to 14.8 B $ on this day.

I can't tell if it will still grow but I hope it will because I am really investing in it and I am in nice profit with Stellar.
This was my little rewiew of cryptocurrencies in early start of 2018 and I hope I helped you somehow in deciding should you invest or not. You really should invest in all of these coins because they really have big chances to grow even more.

Thanks for the information. I'm thinking Steem is picking up because analysts are starting to realize that the Steem block chain is really where it is at for 2018 , what with having solid valuable content to back up the cryptocurrency, plus DTube now in operation in the new age of You Tube/Google/Facebook/Twitter censorship. These highly positive built-in attributes combined with the growing continual censorship on social media giants lend additional stability to the platform and the cryptocurrency behind it. As time passes Steemit is looking more and more like a safe bet for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and large scale investors alike. I've read reports on what might possibly happens if Bitcoin has a massive crash in 2018 or cryptos get shaken up by newly adopted legislations and the good thing about Steem is that because it is backed up by solid content provided by the community there is a strong possibility it will withstand any coming shake ups in the cryptomarket. If Bitcoin does come down then many of the folks involved with it are likely to flood into Steem. Having stated all that, I hope more and more people continue to add excellent content here at Steemit in order to bolster the platform and build a great place to come for well researched information in the future.

agreed! Steem is such a powerful concept - that content creators and contributors deserve to share in the wealth that a successful platform generates. Even though the big jump is happening now, there is still time to become an early adopter.
What do you think about RaiBlocks?
I don't know but from my point of view, it doesn't seem like it can go much higher than this for now but as always, patience is key :D
