5 Things I do before writing on Steemit!

in #steemit6 years ago

Hello friends of Steemit, today I bring you a somewhat different topic and a little more personal than normal, as you could read in the title it is about the things that I usually do before publishing a post and the whole process that exists behind of the same.

With nothing more to add, let's start with today's topic.

1) Login to Steemd.com/@user

A website that gives you all the necessary information regarding an account in Steemit, in this case my account. You can visualize things like:

  • Voting Power.
  • Bandwidth Remaining.
  • Steem Power.
  • Current reputation.
  • Rewards obtained.
  • Upvotes / downvotes obtained.
  • Upvotes / downvotes made by us.
  • Comments obtained.
  • Comments made.

And among a host of really useful data that will help you to have better control over the activity in relation to our Steemit account, essential so that we do not overlook certain comments.

2) Read other posts.

This is what takes me the longest, around 30 minutes to 1 hour, sometimes even more. I invest some time reading publications in the tabs "trend" and "rising", to be informed of everything that is currently happening in Steemit.

Reading publications is useful, because:

  • We get new ideas.
  • Possible healing opportunities.
  • Comment and interact with others.

That is why I invest so much time in the posts of others, not only those who are in "trend" or "on the rise", since they always tend to be the same, but also in the "new" section.

3) Review my list of ideas.

I imagine that I am not the only one who has a list in which he writes down all the ideas for possible publications in the future. It is really necessary, due to various reasons.

  • Difficulty to run out of ideas
  • Do not forget ideas that occurred at any time.
  • Greater organization and control.

Without a doubt, I think it's something essential that all users should have and not have a list with your ideas, it's never too late to create it.

4) Analyze the topic to be developed.

Always before publishing, I make a previous projection in my mind in relation to the topic to develop, this helps me to:

  • Do not waste time writing the wrong topic.
  • A preview about how to develop the theme.
  • Develop a topic and stay without writing it.

They could have many topics to write and develop, but it is essential to preview it, to be close to how to get to the writing of the chosen topic and avoid staying halfway.

5) Word, music and drink.

Personally, these 2 simple elements are vital when writing a topic.

  • Music helps me enormously to relax and concentrate, which is good at the time of writing.
  • Having drinks on hand, saves me the task of getting up to find some and interrupt the writing process, I avoid the risk of losing track or inspiration.
  • Finally, open Word to proceed with the development of the chosen topic. It helps us correct misspellings.

And what do you usually do?

We all have our own "ritual" to say it in some way, before writing in Steemit, although there are certain things that are very common, stories such as the annotation of ideas and the preview of the topic to be developed.
Everyone has their style and / or way of working, can be similar but it is very difficult to find someone who works just like us.
