We Can Have The Sharpest Development Minds On Steemit And A Darn Close Killer Product, But Without The Killer Audience It Will Ultimately Fail

Can We Be All Killer, No Filler?

Having worked for many tech companies I know that marketing only works when you have a killer product AND a killer market of rabid hordes wishing to use your product.

We appear to have some of the sharpest developer minds here on Steemit, and I'd say 90% of our product is tack sharp, but we are missing that last killer 10% that will bring in the market audience that we require. This is the tough part.

We must keep refining our platform until we find this killer audience THEN we can apply the killer marketing techniques to fuse it all together to become the next big thing in social media.

This is the only choice we have. I'd say in 2016 we refined our product to 90% of its killer potential, so in 2017 we should spend time refining that last 10% edge and implement it with a killer marketing solution once the killer audience has engaged with us.

If we don't implement this solution then our heads shall remain stuck in the hay bale just like the sheep above, and we shall all ultimately fail. But no one on Steemit wants that do they?

The SBD needs to go and the wallet simplified as much as possible. The down-votes need to disappear in favour of something like an Amazon Review Star System that CAN'T be abused. Up-voted and RS.

Steemit could learn a lot from the Google search engine front end I feel.
