Quora would be so much more of a truly public platform if it was based on Blockchain with its own steem tokens, wouldn't it?
Quora users are now aware of the blockchain
In this Quora post (as well as a few others I've seen on the site) it seems that Quora users are rising and wanting some kind of reward token for the answers they give on this question and answer site.
A few weeks ago I suggested that Quora try to integrate the Steemit blockchain into its site as a trial to reward users for their quality answers on the site.
Since our blockchain is looking for more apps (most recently with a new forum board) I think a Quora trial would be an excellent outing for Steemit Inc.
I think Quora should try to avoid yet another blockchain like Quora-coin or Q-coin and allow themselves to use our tried and trusted method for rewarding its users.
It would also allow us to scale up the number of good writers on Steemit as well. Quora has a superb array of intelligent writers on their site. I think a Steemit - Quora partnership could work very well.
What do you think? Comments below.
A steem based quora like platform is a must
I think a trial of some kind with a Steem token called Q-coin is a start!
That would be cool. With the option to download the chicken? :D
For every answer on Quora, simply cut and paste the answer 'Download chicken!'
hahaha. download the chicken is the answer to everything
It is the very meaning of our lives!!
It's the center of my Kitchen Universe
Quora users should just move to STEEMIT or Quora should just integrate steemit to its system.
It might not work well due to political reasons. Quora is mostly highly educated liberals with the same issue with censorship against those who disagree with them. A lot of them are Googlers, Facebook employees, and professors so Steemit might become another Youtube or Facebook controlled feeds. Technical information wise, they would be very useful and knowledgeable comparing to your average run of the mill posters.
I agree - either integrate Steem OR use the new upcoming Steemit token for communities that @ned talked about.
For the moment being Steemit can focus on explaining why it's sending data CONSTANTLY on every webpage to both google and facebook. After that I think the viability of a propaganda hole like Quora which embraces censorship wholeheartedly and claims that it's only bad if government does it. Fuck Quora, and their userbase, and fuck Wikipedia while were at it, we don't need those scams and those scams would not EVER, EVER use any decentralized transparent blockchain.
Great to hear from you @baah - I agree, there may be political ideology clashes on this one, so steem is out! Perhaps a branded Q-coin via Steemit's new token system coming soon would be more acceptable. Maybe not??! I might have to let this idea die a slow death me thinks!!
P.S. Holy crap! Your super close to reputation 60 - well done :))
