Take the power back
This photo of a 106 year old Armenian woman guarding her home with a rifle is a constant source of inspiration to me.
It was taken in Goris in the Southern part of Armenia which is in dispute with Azerbaijan which also claims it as its own. It makes us all think about taking the power back in our own lives, no matter what age we are.
Steemit is but one small step on that path to a true decentralized power in our world of anarchy. No rifles required.

That is quite a striking photo. I like what you present...taking power back. She strikes me as one who is also cemented in, defending what is rightfully hers, what she has staked her entire life upon, no one will take it from her.
They say the first 100 years of life are the hardest! This is all downhill for her now :)
