On average per capita, sure, but it evens out the distribution of money, which does lead to a more vibrant economy with more opportunities for innovation.

I think a smaller liquid steem would help raise steem price and not a high liquid steem supply . Steem needs to create a shortage not an excess other than that you're lookin good up voted and followed
