These are just getting more and more fun! I have to thank Steemit for encouraging me to be more prolific then I have in a while.
I know many people feel encouraged to produce things they may not have been motivated to before having an audience on this platform.
A little background information on this portrait, my beautiful niece has a little shangrila on her farm that she lives on. These are two of many happy critters to call a place in her heart their own.

I always do the face in one go so as not to loose momentum, plus I LOVE working on a face! Cant get me to stop to take a break to look at the northern lights! add color blend. Repeat till a face emerges
Next I work on the kitty! That was so much fun! His face was so adorable to give attention to! I miss having a cat.

and done! Or as done as any artist can be, I always want to add more!, And I did!
In the original "finished " piece, she did not have a bare shoulder - just added that in. And a few more things :) If you look close, you may see! The current finished portrait is the second from the top on this post :)

Thankyou so much!! I want to do another for her where you can see her whole face, but I couldnt resist this cute combo with both her animal babies. Finding an app (Artflow ) for my kindle that takes away the mess has made it far more possible to make art as a mom of a four year old! I have weird free minutes here and there that are easily filled now! Starting to use my Steemit account ( I had had it since june, but only started using it maybe six weeks ago) has made it all click! Thank you for your encouragement, it is very much appreciated :)
