Happy Thanksgiving day and where the hell have I been?!

Well first of all I wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving Day! It's a bulls***t holiday but what it's become is all about being there with your family and friends and not necessarily about stealing native Americans' land and allowing them to have casinos. But that's another story...

Much to my chagrin I've been inactive on Steemit as things have been a bit crazy lately leading up to today. I had to grind a bit to catch up with every day life and I'll get into it next week. But all that being said I'm with the love of my life celebrating 10 years being married! It's not an easy task living with me and she deserves an award!

Right now we're in Sandals Saint Lucia and it's amazing here! It's been one of those dates that you've had in the back of your mind that can't come fast enough. If you're reading this - you have to come once in your life! Everything is first class and you won't regret it! Especially if you splurge a bit and get the butler service and a room with a private pool and jacuzzi.

The other exciting news I have to share is that I finally bought a camera in the sky - aka a drone. It's A LOT of responsibility to fly but it's tons of fun! I missed out on a few gigs because I didn't have one - but now I have it in my arsenal. I didn't buy an expensive one as it's said to get a cheap first drone so you can learn how to fly. Here's a shot taken from my maiden voyage this morning...

I was worried that I'd get a lot of crap for flying it out here but everyone has been cool about it. If anything drunk people have been like "it's a drone!". I figured I get some footage and if anyone would say anything I'd apologize. As it's said - it's easier to ask for an apology than for permission. So here's an unapologetic shot...

The crazy thing is that the DJI Spark can even shoot long exposures at night!

Well I hope everyone reading this had a nice holiday and I'll be back to posting regularly next week. I've got tons of photos and stories to share with you guys but creating proper content on Steemit is time consuming.

Hopefully I'm not banned from #steemitbloggers and by the looks of it 2019 is looking to be a - let's say - life changing year. But I'll be sure to fill you guys in soon.
