Multiple language communities in steemit

The gardens of Babylon

I see a serious problem in steemit and it has to do with i18n. People from all over the world are flogging in and post stuff. Majority language is English (and possibly will be forever), but having all languages mixed in the same bag will definitely prove problematic soon. It is already obvious in post lists, where English is mixed with Chinese, Spanish, Korean etc. I am especially worried about Chinese, since they are really into crypto lately (due to yuan depreciating) and their participation will keep rising.

Is there a way to filter the languages you see? Maybe pick the languages you want to have access to? Tagging is a workaround and will not work in the long term. Maybe I am missing something?

PS: I am Greek and would love to see a Greek section, sub-site or whatever the steemit devs come up with.
