What do I mean?

API/Wordpress plugin that when you post on your site it posts on steemit

More important is an API from steemit or plugin that auto-posts what YOU put on steemit into your external websute

WHY?

Make Steemit FIRST - Steemit pays you. This is your platform. Your site is just a copy of your valuable content. You should only produce valuable content and therefore should want to be rewarded for it.
