@STEEMIT HELP

Stupid question 🙋🏼🙋🏼 my aunt recently lost everything in a house fire. It was two nights ago. The garage is toast and so is the kitchen. Everything else was smoke damaged. They want to go get their clothes and wash and wear them. Is that ok? It was a gas fire so the chemicals they had to use to put it out is very toxic. But they didn’t spray the whole house. And their clothes are in their bedrooms in the closets but have black suit on them and are kind of sticky. They want to wash them all and wear them but I wasn’t sure if that was safe or not? Does any one know if that’s ok?

yes it is safe no problem, but first she should wash all clothes then wearing.

I honestly don't know. I've had a couple of relatives lost their homes to fire, but they both lost literally EVERYTHING. Nothing but ashes left. I will say the photos you showed explain very drastically why they tell you to stay low when trying to escape a burning building. Major difference top to bottom.
