Wow, so its been down for well over 24 hours - It went nonfunctional on me two days ago - and no word on when it will be up or why its down? Just sitting there in the dark?

Steemit.Chat is available but as a non-secure connection (http://steemit.chat). The secure connection seems to be unavailable (https://steemit.chat).
Steemit it is still working ok. just the steemit chat is down... still!
